Moments We Shared (Writing as Curiosity)

Photo taken from the WEB

I remember when we first fell in love
The tears we shed and wiped away in privacy
The hope we shared to get away from life’s rigors.
We trusted each other absolutely.

I miss our times behind societal bars
When we used to patch up severed hearts
When we held hands on broken sailboats
When we blew out flames of doubt.

What happened to the moments we shared?
Can we recapture them?
The butterfly kisses from afar.
The completion of each other’s sentences.
Can we rediscover it all?
