LIES AND SECRETS
The truth, now unspoken
Ignorant to our real feelings
Unable to disclose such information.
Heavy hearts feel like Rocky Mountain boulders.
These goddamn lies we result to
Slither into our mind’s psyches.
We hide behind a tall fence of deceit
A concord of falsities
A Great Wall of duplicity.
We have become two snakes in fine grass
Never shedding our thick ulterior motives.
Surely the big, bad box of secrets
Possess the answers we need to finally let go.
