A MIRAGE IN THE DISTANCE
Could it possibly be her?
The splitting image of my greatest mistake?
Each freckle on her face, more revolting than the last.
I suffocate
At such a resemblance
I remain paralyzed.
Is it truly her?
My greatest mistake?
The root of my regrets?
Has she wandered back into my life
Four years after the Great spring cleaning?
