Weeping Loneliness

WEEPING LONELINESS

I become lonely when

you leave my arms.

I become lonely when

you stop singing our song.

Our duet is dead…

stay by my side tonight.

Won’t you stay with me?

The night can be everlasting,

like love.

Can’t you see the yearning

in my eyes when you

head for the exits?

My heart breaks into a

thousand pieces and I want

to silently weep.

Can’t you see? I become

lonely when you leave my arms.
